Emergency Component Manufacturing Support
Progress Defense delivers rapid-response manufacturing and engineering support to address urgent component shortages and sustain operational readiness. When supply chains are disrupted or critical parts fall below required levels, we can quickly adapt and reconfigure assembly lines and plant operations to execute hot runs for emergency components—without quantity limitations and with accelerated turnaround timelines to stabilize and restore supply continuity.
Our in-house manufacturing capabilities allow Progress Defense to immediately produce critical components, leveraging flexible tooling, available capacity, and streamlined workflows. These efforts are supported by disciplined quality control processes and Lean Six Sigma–driven practices to ensure speed is achieved without compromising consistency, traceability, or compliance.
In support of emergency production, Progress Defense provides rapid prototyping, reverse engineering, technical manual (TM) support, and redline drawing updates, along with modeling and simulation to validate form, fit, and function. We also offer software integration support where digital systems, controls, or interfaces must be updated in parallel with hardware changes. Together, these capabilities ensure emergency components are produced, documented, integrated, and field-ready—enabling customers to recover quickly and maintain mission readiness with confidence.
