Our Capabilities

Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Progress Defense operates a coordinated supply chain and integrated logistics framework designed to support distributed manufacturing and complex program execution. Our hub-and-spoke supply model connects qualified suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal operations, enabling efficient movement, storage, and flow of materials throughout the program lifecycle—from production and integration through delivery, sustainment, disposition, and recycling.

This model is supported by strategically located regional storage and staging facilities, allowing critical materials, spares, and finished products to be positioned closer to the customer for faster response and reduced lead times. As part of our Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) offerings, Progress Defense supports sustainment activities, including inventory management, replenishment, configuration control, and lifecycle support tailored to program requirements.

To support operational readiness, Progress Defense maintains the ability to convert supply parts directly from the production line to support emergency fills of low stock quantities, ensuring rapid response to unplanned demand. In addition, we manage pipeline fills to maintain continuity of supply, stabilize inventory levels, and prevent downstream shortages across customer locations.

Frequent communication, structured data exchange, and direct coordination across the supply base provide real-time visibility, schedule alignment, and control across all tiers of the supply chain. Progress Defense maintains active oversight of product delivery, including domestic and international shipments as well as movements requiring specialized handling or security considerations. Our logistics operations are focused on safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery—ensuring customers receive what they need, when they need it, with confidence in execution and compliance.
