Quality Assurance and Control

Progress Defense applies a disciplined, standards-based approach to quality across all phases of product realization. Our quality management system, in our main campus south shop, aligns with AS9100D requirements for aviation, space, and defense organizations, as well as ISO 9001:2015 for machining and manufacturing services. Together, these standards provide a structured foundation for process control, traceability, and compliance across diverse defense and industrial programs.

Prior to the start of each program, Progress Defense establishes a comprehensive Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) that defines quality objectives, verification methods, and responsibilities aligned with applicable standards and customer requirements. This plan ensures quality expectations are clearly defined and consistently executed from program initiation through final delivery.

Quality is actively managed and evaluated across the entire value chain—from raw materials and components to assemblies and finished systems; from machining and fabrication to inspection, testing, and production operations. Through disciplined execution, documented procedures, and continuous improvement, Progress Defense delivers consistent, compliant results that support customer confidence and mission readiness.
